DJ Pleasure

Known as one of the most versatile DJ’s from the South, DJ Pleasure began his journey in 2011 after his older brother purchased a B52 DJ controller to play around with music. He instantaneously fell in love with the  idea of manipulating beats and quickly developed a skill set for blending music.

The Baton Rouge, LA. native then started investing in his own equipment to further gain skills and learn all of the different aspects of djing. He began studying old videos of his favorite DJ, the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff, to gain more knowledge of transitions, scratching, and blending techniques. After countless sleepless nights and unending hours of dedication to the craft,  he emerged as one of the fastest-growing DJ’s in his city in 2012, performing at a number of local high-quality events.

Over the years,  DJ Pleasure has performed in a number of states around the nation, along with appearances at several high-quality events such as Essence Festival, major corporate events, major HBCU events, and more. He continues to push the needle each year in the DJ culture,  thriving with help of his work ethic and love for the craft.
